Rapid Travers Analysis

Understudy #1 SPEIGHTSCITY will appearing in tonight’s performance in Hansen’s role of the speed who wasn’t going to win anyway. X

#2 FIVESIXTEEN’s last couple of runs have been OK, but not exactly the stuff Travers dreams are made of. Was probably flattered a bit last time by the set up and mud. Not for me. X

#3 GOLDEN TICKET has a couple of good races to run back to that might put him in the lower rungs of the money but I don’t think he wants to go this far, does he? For Willy Wonka fans. X

#4 STEALCASE is a horse I’ve aleways kind of liked and he has run well enough on his best day to win this. Upgrade the last off the awful break. An interesting longshot. B-

#5 STREET LIFE has breeding for this and vibes a possible wiseguy pick. I’d like to have seen him run a little faster thought. Feeling here is that he’d need the best of these not to show up to win the whole thing, but is a contender for underneath. C.

#6 ALPHA ran really well in the Dandy but there’s just no denying he was a big old Flow downgrade. It’s interesting to note that he was alo flattered (in the other direction) when he won the Withers on a closer favoring track. He isn’t a horse I can excited about betting, but if I were spreading in the race, I’d want him covered, at least for 2d and 3d. C.

#7 ATIGUN had zero chance last time given the dynamics of the Dandy. He’s another who has run fast enough to fit the board nd should like the distance. I don’t really like him any less than Alpha to be honest. C.

#8 NECK ‘N’ NECK was also compromised in the Dandy and this guy has huge races to run back to. I like Ian Wilkes’ old-school style for this race and the 10 panel breeding is there. I’d fire at the 9/2 of the ML but doubt we’ll get it. A.

#9 LIASON actually ran well while severely Flow compromised in the Dandy. The question you have to ask yourself is, do you believe in the Indian Charlie wall? I kinda do. C.

#10 NONIOS looks great to me off his last two races. The breeding is a plus. I would venture to say that the ML price would be a gift.

BANKROLL PLAY: $50 win on #8 NECK ‘N’ NECK and #10 NONIOS.
